Blog Overview

The Blog Object is the top‑level object for creating a blog within the XPOR system. It inherits the Forum Board object type, so it carries all the standard forum settings while adding blog‑specific features.

In terms of structure, a Blog contains Blog Category and Blog Post objects. These categories act as containers for posts, and each post can include comments (Forum Post objects). The blog inherits all the associations of a Forum Board, ensuring consistent navigation and permissions across the platform.

Blog Properties

• NewCommentEmail - Email Object Property. An email that is sent to the Blog Moderators when a new comment is added.
• CommentApprovedEmail - Email Object Property. An email that is sent to the Comment Author when a comment is approved.
• CommentDeclinedEmail - Email Object Property. An email that is sent to the Comment Author when a comment is declined.
• CommentLeftEmail - Email Object Property. An email that is sent to the Comment Author when a their comment is added.
• DefaultDisplayPage - Webpage Object Property. An Webpage that is used to render the Blog in any sitemaps.
