International BACS Payment Gateway Overview

International BACS Payment Gateway is a payment method that lets customers in other countries send money directly to your business account using the BACS system. It works the same way as a normal BACS gateway, but it also requires a SWIFT address and an IBAN so that overseas transfers can be routed correctly.

When you add this gateway to an Order Type, it becomes one of the checkout options available to shoppers. Because it is an offline method, the order will only be marked complete once you confirm that the bank transfer has arrived.

International BACS Payment Gateway Properties

• BankName - Text Property. The name of the bank that holds your account.
• SWIFTAddress - Text Property. The SWIFT code used for international transfers.
• BankAccountName - Text Property. The name on the account.
• IBAN - Text Property. The International Bank Account Number.
• BankAddress - Text Property. The full address of the bank.
• ReferenceInstructions - Text Property. Any notes you want the customer to include as a reference.
