Map Shapes Layer is a simple container used to group together visual map elements such as Map Shapes and Map Routes. When you place a Map Shapes Layer inside a map atom, all of the shapes and routes it contains are rendered together on the same map, allowing you to control their visibility and grouping as a single unit.
