Open Form/New Object

On XPOR Grids you can include the ability to Add New (see the separate Grid Form Help Resource ).  This will open the default Object Editor form for the object type that you are adding.  This is quick and easy BUT is also very restrictive.  For example, only one Add New button can be included on a grid AND you cannot select a Form - the function only opens the default object editor form.

The Action Designer option "Open Form /New Object" gives you much more control over what is being actioned.

The attached video demonstrates the use of the Top Toolbar, adding a Button and using it to create a new Contact as a child of a target Group.
